Natalja Dembek ~ Fine Art
How far can the expression of a gesture and the weight of presence communicate a thought?

Gestures of the human figure are arranged in an installation and put in a continuous dialogue with the viewer, offering a different impression with every perusal.
Natalja Dembek's artwork consists of installations of drawn and painted two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, projecting the artist's ruminations onto flat surfaces, as well as letting the surface of found objects become the skin of figures that they inspire.

The production of these pieces of art is a therapeutic way of communicating the overwhelming amount of impressions - and their sometimes great, sometimes gruesome nature - which are constantly transmitted in the globalised, modern world.
By creating this bizarre body-language the boundaries of conventional words are transcended and a way of communicating fundamental human impressions is established through a common medium - the body.
